Tom Kennedy teaches Skilled Trades @ Eric G Lambert in Churchill Falls. He administers the schools MOODLE LMS and GAFE framework. Tom’s recent work explores the integration of Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) and 3D printing in the 9-12 curriculum with current integration efforts focusing primarily on Design And Fabrication at the Secondary level. He has logged over 600 hours of classroom-based print time combining the design capabilities of Sketchup with the Makerbot Replicator 2X.
Through his work with TESIC, Tom has facilitated sessions highlighting the integration of mobile technology for teaching and learning with a direct emphasis on project-based learning. Tom is currently in his fourth term on the TESIC Executive.
