Ryan Voon

Ryan is the Co-Chair of the EWB National Conference, hosted in Edmonton, Alberta from Jan 12-15. He has had many roles in the organization, including being a Junior Fellow, Chapter President, and Content Planner for xChange 2016.
Professionally, Ryan has experience supporting the delivery of capital projects and electrical engineering design, and has been exposed to the areas of coal and natural gas power generation, electrical system distribution, and oil sands operation. He hopes to use the pragmatic perspectives gained from his time working in conventional energy systems to help accelerate the transition to clean energy.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta, and is a prospective student of the Master of Engineering Leadership in Clean Energy Engineering Program at the University of British Columbia.
When not working....or working on Conference, Ryan enjoys listening to music, playing the piano, enjoying Edmonton's beautiful river valley, and gaming.
