Grant Patch’s role as the Muse Assistant is to provide support to The Muse and the Marketplace presenters, attendees, and Grub Street staff to facilitate a well-oiled, high-quality conference. After graduating from Colby College, where he won the Elmira Nelson Jones Memorial Prize for Creative Writing and was prose editor of the campus literary magazine The Pequod, he joined Grub Street as an intern in 2012 and was hired as the Muse Assistant in January of 2013. Grant loves reading and writing literature that straddles the boundary between prose and poetry, fiction and non-fiction, the sublime and banal; playing with puppies; and documenting Boston’s street art scene.
