Lisa Attygalle is the Director of Engagement at Tamarack Institute where she leads efforts to improve the learner experience to enable increased engagement and collaboration across the Tamarack learning communities and community-based projects. Lisa also heads up all of Tamarack’s technology and online spaces, and constantly advocates for simplicity in infrastructure, frameworks and design. As part of her role, Lisa offers insights and guidance to leaders that are looking to improve their own communications, marketing, community outreach and engagement strategies. She also facilitates sessions on community engagement and communications planning to educate others in applying the principles of marketing, advertising, customer loyalty, and user experience to community initiatives.
Prior to Tamarack, Lisa was a Senior Strategist and previously a Project Manager at Quarry Integrated Communications, where she advised clients within the agribusiness, healthcare, financial services and technology sectors. Hailing from Australia, Lisa also worked as a Communications Officer on major water projects as the liaison between local government, engineering firms, and community stakeholders.
